Track feed cost per litre, milk yield, body condition, refusals and health events. These indicators help determine whether a ration is both nutritionally effective and financially sustainable.
Feed security should be confirmed before herd expansion. Buying more animals without securing quality feed can reduce production and increase health costs across the entire farm.
